Our purpose built self storage facility in Knowsley has been designed to be as secure as possible. Through the whole design process, our aim has been to create the best possible experience for anyone storing with us. We have achieved this by creating a secure, clean and friendly environment where you can be confident your belongings will be kept safe.
Security is massively important to Tortoise Storage and the whole self storage industry. We take security seriously and have taken a number of steps to ensure that your belongings are kept safe while here with us. See below just some of the security measures we have taken.
The whole site is contained by secure 2.4m high palisade security fencing. The only entrance to the site is via the electronic main gate.
Entry can only be gained by existing customers using there designated pin code. Any visitors can only gain access if authorised by the reception.
The entire site is visible through a state of the art CCTV system. There is nowhere to hide.
Our security partners continuously monitor the CCTV 24/7 and nothing gets past them. They will react accordingly to whatever they might see.
Should it be necessary we have a tannoy system in place so that any potential intruders can be warned off, either from reception or from our security partners.
The containers themselves are extremely secure, constructed from tough anticorrosive steel and with locking bars made of galvanised steel with lockable handles.
This system is tripped automatically if anyone is detected on site when they shouldn't be and an appropriate reaction will be made to eliminate the threat.
We only allow the use of our supplied K-Force block lock, manufactured with hardened steel to ensure your secure steel container isn't let down by a flimsy lock.
